SELF INSERTS - LACKADAISY

"Little Miss Perfect"

HERE THERE BE DRAGONS!! If you proceed, you may find something you aren't comfortable with! Please mind the content warnings for the main site, particularly the selfship section, and click away as needed! Specific content warnings include but are not limited to: VIOLENCE, MURDER, ALCOHOL AND PROHIBITION THEMES, as well as, potentially, 1920'S ERA BIASES AND SOCIAL NORMS. If NSFW CONTENT is discussed, themes of BDSM, NON-CON, DUB-CON, GUNPLAY, and FEAR KINK may be involved. All NSFW content will be warned and kept behind a spoiler if possible, and each section has its own specific CWs.

Lackadaisy and related concepts belong to Tracy J. Butler. Anything on this page is purely fanwork and should not be confused for official Lackadaisy content.

MAIN VERSION

This is the original and main storyline for my personal Lackadaisy selfship.

Josephine Carter - Selfship with Moredcai Heller

Character Summary | References | Gift Art Permissions (You Are Here)
she/her | mid-20s | main art and design by thetvdemon
CWs: Prohibition-era mobsters, violence, knives, gunfights, possible murder, solipsism, lack of empathy, morally gray character.

Yes Please: Individual SFW pics, Jo working or thinking or being backed into a corner and having to fight (she can use a gun fairly effectively, and gets hyperfocused under pressure, but does not like the noise, and generally gets overwhelmed emotionally even when the survival instincts are kicking in and accommodating for that), generally looking bewildered or being flustered in social situations (one funny situation could be her and Mordecai both getting flustered around each other, without really realizing the other has it just as bad), awkward dancing with Mordecai (or similar situations), other outfits based on the time period, modern AU is an option too! Casual interactions with other Lackadaisy characters, feel free to ask for more info about her story and position in life as needed! Mordecai teaching her how to shoot properly or something like that. Cat Jo doing cat things like ear twitches, etc (can be anthro or feral in specifically cat-related themes, but please do not draw her feral with other characters!) really playing into the cat themes.

Ask First: Dark/Dead Dove content further than what is specified above. Things like interrogations or torture or someone actually, on screen, getting shot or murdered. Interactions with Lackadaisy OCs of your own. Interactions with non-Lackadaisy characters, depending on the situation. NSFW (for the moment; subject to change as I add character and story details).

Please Don't: Extreme gore, body horror. Actual death of Jo or a named Lackadaisy character (random NPCs or your own characters are Ask First).

GENERAL PERMISSIONS

General/global permissions for these characters. Individual permissions can override general permissions, when applicable.

Yes Please: Anything listed as GREEN in character-specific permissions, even if it contradicts global permissions. Follow the specific version's individual ref if available; some versions may have different body types or vary in whether they do or don't wear glasses, for example. Scenes/interactions based directly on the character description/blurb are generally fine, but if you're not sure, ask! Otherwise use your best judgment while following AU-specific permissions.

Ask First: Written attacks; while welcome, whether or not I am comfortable with them may depend on the PoV and concept. Gore, injury, and NSFW when not specified by character. Actual character death. If you think something you want to draw/write might be particularly dark as a concept it is better to ask me first since I'm not always up for it without warning.

Please Don't: Gore that is particularly graphic(i.e. inner body exposed, that sort of thing).
